Logo Design and Brand Identity
Smiling Moose tasked us with designing and developing their new full-service restaurant concept. The new “Sandwich Grill and Bar” would be the Smiling Moose’s first ever foray into the full-service restaurant world. Taking over an existing space in the coveted Denver University business district, the new concept would provide a high end, low frills dining experience for students and locals alike. The new Brand Identity needed to encompass the original Smiling Moose branding while also providing a new look and feel that would encompass the expanded menu and hours.
Concepting and Interior Design
Taking over an existing space is always a challenge but with creativity and value engineering we were able to transform the restaurant into a well branded, bold interior indicative of the Moose’s flavor-forward menu. Note the before-and-after images below showing the concepting through the finished product.
Local Store Marketing
Marketing the new concept entailed reaching out to both the student body as well as the local community. Launching new promotions such as All Day Breakfast, Weekend Brunches and “Free Beer” specials we were able to flood the doors of the new concept with different clientele and markets. Grand Opening marketing included Direct Mail drops, promotional cards and shaker boards for highly trafficked areas.
